In 2016, my ensemble Breakfast Club was invited to curate a series of interdisciplinary site-specific performances, walks, discussions and workshops inside and around the local area of the Asilo Aniaton - a residental hospice for adults with a broad range of physical and learning needs.
The project was created in collaboration with dancer and choreographer Dimitris Sotiriou, actor and poet Mihalis Sionas, hip hop artist Negros tou Moria and architects SWOP, alongside residents and staff of the Asilo.
It was an absolutely incedible experience. The residents of the Asilo were so welcoming and open, and it was a joy to fill the space with light, dance, words and music.
